India, Russia to promote strategic partnership in IT
India and Russia have identified key deliverables, to promote strategic partnership in the Information Technology sector. The proposed plan of action was agreed upon during a meeting between Union Minister for Information Technology & Parliamentary Affairs, Shri Pramod Mahajan and Russian Minister for Communications & Information, Mr L Reyman. Obongo Inc targets $40 m Indian ASP market
Obongo Inc, a $100 million Internet company based in Silicon Valley on Wednesday announced its intention to target the $40 million Indian ASP market. Obongo Inc also announced its tie-up with Quarktek Software Pvt Ltd to provide services such as customer support, quality assurance and site integration to Obongo's US operations.
Computer courses by ET&T to continue
Close on the heels of announcing its decision to wind up Electronics Trade and Technology Development Corporation Ltd (ET&T), the government said on Wednesday that the IT education and training courses, currently being conducted by the company through franchising, would continue.
