Bangalore: The online drug outlet medybiz.com has received its second round of funding from angel investor Mr NS Raghavan-co-founder of Infosys Technologies and advisor to Chrysallis Capital. Mr Raghavan has picked up 10 per cent in medybiz.However, he did not divulge the size of his investment in the company.
Mr Raghavan told reporters here that various firms -Web-enabled services, process control and computerisation of rural agriculture-have approached him for funding. Medybiz chief operating officer, Mr A Suryanarayanan said that the fresh funds would be deployed into various innovative initiatives including introducing a B2B module, HealthCard facility and an NRI-focused section besides setting up operations in nine more cities. The company has operations in Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai.
