AmSoft eyeing fresh overseas markets

Bangalore : Amsoft Information Services (India) Pvt Ltd - a subsidiary of the US-based (i)Structure Inc - has decided to foray into newer markets including Australia, South Africa and Singapore, according to company's vice president (projects) Sudhir Goel.

To this end, the company would go in for a mix of subsidiaries and joint ventures in these new markets. "We are currently in talks with a couple of firms overseas and we are expected to sign them on within a couple of months, Mr Goel said.

Mr Goel told The Financial Express that AmSoft was also in the process of tying up with US-based corporate training firms - Nims and MVS Training - with a view to enhancing the services of its corporate training division. Post tie-up, the company would extend corporate training overseas as well, he said.

AmSoft would also enter into tie-ups with telecom products firms in the US. To this end, the company was in talks with a couple of companies in the country. "We will meet their software requirement and in turn they will provide our customers with telecom technology and expertise,'' he said.Mr Goel said AmSoft was scheduled to launch two new products at the IT.com. The new products include Quality Documentation and Process Management software and the Internet-based resume management software - eReSys.

The Internet-based quality solution was expected to provide customised solutions for total quality, process and documentation management, he said. eReSys would automate the recruitment process for IT professionals besides helping the HR department to locate the right employees.
