DSS Mobile, former Oracle India chief float software JV

Leading paging company DSS Mobile Communications and E-PAC promoted by the former Oracle India chief Anil Kaul on Tuesday formed a joint venture to focus on software development for call centres and supply chain management sector.

The new venture based out of the capital would focus on implementation of leading international software packaging in the areas of customer relationship management, supply chain management, business to business exchanges and mobile communication applications, Praveen Kumar, managing director DSS Mobile Communications told a press conference here.

Mr Anil Kaul, who was also present at the conference said development of software products using best software technology platform, database management systems, development of tools and software development methodology.

The venture would also focus on offshore development and problem solving to overcome high quality development services to overcome client business problems and challenges to build specific new solutions on client-by-client basis in the international market.

E-PAC specialises in helping form new software and services companies working with corporate and venture finance to identify promising new companies and helping emerging software companies to globalise their operations.

DSS, part of the Sanjay Dalmia group with interest in tobacco, chemicals, telecom, dairy products, textiles and biotechnology, is the leading paging service provider. It had also made a foray into call centre business.
