Melstar to launch new ASP model by next fiscal

Mumbai : Melstar Information Technologies Ltd will be launching their product `The Right Desk Expert' by the end of this month. Mr Suresh Bansal, Chairman, Melstar said "there have been continous development on this product. Five more modules are being added and will be launched as an ASP model by the next financial year.

Patented by the subsidiary in the US Melstar Inc, it is a facility management product that helps a company manage its IT infrastructure, asset management and knowledge management. The first beta testing of this product is being conducted in Singapore at ASPOnline, in the US at Melsatr Inc and in Mumbai at Melstar.

The Right Desk Expert caters to any company with an IT infrastructure though the range of users is restricted from 50-1,000. It is a problem management tool that is a call tracking and problem resolution engine used by the help desk staff to log in the user's problem and track it till the solution is delivered as well as to maintain a knowledge base to deliver a quick solution.

The Right Advisor tool enables professionals to source instant answers from the Web. The Right Desk Mail Management (RDMM) is an advanced e-mail solution that helps manage, route and prioritise its customer's e-mail queries to arrive at a response quickly. It also provides solutions to non-technical personnel by translating complex technical concepts into user-friendly propositions.
