Sitra's agenda 

 
The South India Textile Research Association (Sitra) will prepare cotton requirements for meeting the production of cotton yarn and cotton blended yarn till 2004-05. The research body is finalising its report on these requirements. While Sitra is said to have submitted a draft of the study, a final report will be submitted to the Cotton Advisory Board too. It will consist of quality requirements of cotton for different count groups and list of Indian cottons considered good to spin different count groups.
