The gross domestic product growth stands at 5.8 per cent for the first quarter as compared to the corresponding period in the previous year which was 6.9 per cent, as per CSO. The meet of thePM's strategy management group is also expected to rope in the industry secretaryPG Mankad particularly as the industrial sector has been one of the important areas which has affected the slowdown.
