Mumbai: The Nasdaq-listed eFunds International has set up a 1000-seat call centre in India to support its customers worldwide. The 32,000 sq foot facility in Mumbai was inaugurated by Mr David Good, the Consul General of the US.The call centre which has been set up with an investment of $4 million, will commence operations with a capacity of over 1,200 professionals and will provide Business Process Management services. "India is the identified location to provide our Business Process Management range of services to clients worldwide" said Mr Pradeep Saxena, president, eFunds International.
eFunds International provides professional services in the areas of information technology, business process management, e-commerce and electronic payment services to customers globally. Their call centres provide technologies, customer services, orders, surveys, collection calling, and manage in-bound direct marketing calls on behalf of clients.
Mr Saxena said, "Besides call centre services, these include financial services and operations services. We also plan to leverage our expertise in the software development for financial services."
The company's future plans for India include continued investments in the country over the next few years in expanding operations, building infrastructure and providing their services from India to clients worldwide, according to Mr Saxena.
He also added that the company was looking at a revenue of $400 million by 2004 worldwide.
eFunds International, that operates in India as iDLX Technology Partners, will rename itself as eFunds International (India) Pvt Ltd.
