Delivering the inaugural address at the eighth general assembly of the Asia-Pacific Parliamentarians Conference on Environment and Development, Mr Krishan Kant said,it is now time for the countries to announce environmental concerns as public policy, if they wish to develop economically and socially. He felt that the people must be educated about the benefits of conserving the natural resources and the co-relationship between environmental conservation and technological advancement.
