Centurion Bank to move court for recovering dues

Mumbai, Dec 5 : Centurion Bank will move court under section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act for recovery of dues from Fidelity Industries. The latter had issued a cheque on Union Bank of India for Rs 6.30 crore towards payments due to Centurion Bank. While the company had devolved liabilities with banks including Centurion Bank, it had issued post-dated cheques covering its liabilities. The cheque has been returned by the Union Bank of India to Centurion Bank for want of funds.
