Mumbai : Concept Communications and Trikaya Grey (Delhi) emerged as the joint winners of India Today's `My India, My Pride' - a unique ad campaign contest which was held at the Taj Mahal Hotel in Mumbai on Saturday.As part of its silver jubilee celebrations, the India Today Group hosted this ad campaign contest by inviting entries from all advertising agencies across the nation.According to Mr Malcolm Mistry, associate publisher (advertising), India Today Group, the objective of the contest was to involve all its partners - primarily Indian ad agencies - in its silver jubilee celebrations. "The winning team was judged on the basis of incisiveness of strategy, creative effectiveness, originality, technical execution, credibility & communication excellence, media strategy and impact," adds Mr Mistry.
Concept Communications and Trikaya Grey shared the first prize worth Rs 25 lakh. RK Swamy/BBDO Advertising bagged the third prize for its entry titled "India is the way of life". The group received over 52 entries across the country, informs Mr Mistry.
The panel of judges included Britannia Industries managing director & CEO Mr Sunil Alag, Enterprise-Nexus chairman Mr Mohammad Khan, Ambience CEO Mr Ashok Kurien, Grey Inc CEO Mr Nirvik Singh, Alok Nanda & Company CEO Mr Alok Nanda, Mr Ravi Shankar, Ambience executive director (creative) Ms Elsie Nanji and Preeti Vyas Gyannetti Communications managing director Ms Preeti Vyas.
