Peak XV launches global services via subsidiary

Bangalore : The US-based Peak XV Networks Inc has announced the launch of its global services -- Content Now!, VPN Now!, Security Now!, Voice Over Packet Now! and Infrastructure Assessment -- in India through its 100 per cent-owned subsidiary Peak XV Networks Pvt Ltd.

Following the launch of its services in India, the company has also drawn up plans to invest $4 million in India towards its 50,000 sq ft technology center in Bangalore.

Briefing the media, the company's founder, president and chief technology office Mr Ashok Murthy said the services would be available in the Indian market by January 2001 and was aimed at large enterprises, service providers and ISP's to facilitate rapid deployment of content distribution and management services.

Peak XV Networks currently has close to 300 employees globally and has nine office spread across the US and India. Offices in Dubai and London are also on the cards.
