Synfosys introduces new software solution

New Delhi: The Hyderabad-based Synfosys Business Solutions has launched a unique software solution that will enable users to register their domain names, e-mail IDs, browser, chat and messenger in a language of their choice. The facility has currently been made available in languages like Hindi, Telugu, and Arabic. According to a company release, the facility is the first of its kind in the world.

The 1997-born company is also involved in R&D in the area of Internet security. It is currently in the process to develop a leading-edge fingerprint security technology. The technology, based on personal biometrics, will be unique in the world and allow more accurate and faster fingerprint comparison, the company claims.

An Internet stock trading engine has already been launched, which is claimed to be technologically superior and yet cost-effective. The product is expected to find many takers as Internet trading is gaining acceptance and more and more Websites, including broking houses and banking companies are providing this service to their customers.

Apart from these, the company is also working on other products for the Web-enabled security, data communication and networking. It covers application areas like re-engineering, migration, data warehousing and product development. Synfosys caters to clients spread across the USA, Saudi Arabia and Singapore from on-shore development centres in these countries, apart from India.

The company had raised Rs 2 crore from primary markets with their par initial public offering in the last week of November 2000.
