Mumbai: Indiaproperties.com, the real estate e-market will be launching `The Associate Plan', an integrated online strategy aimed at providing relevant technology to real estate brokers. The Associated Plan includes a customised software for the brokers called iESTATE to tackle their business needs.Mr Naresh Malkani, e-managing director indiaproperties.com said that the total investment deployed for this plan inclusive of the technology that was developed in-house was around Rs 1 crore. Mr Malkani says: "The successful execution of the organisation's mission of integrating and disseminating the vast requirements of real estate-related information to the end users has led to the launch of `The Associate plan'. This gives the real estate industry a comprehensive platform to propel and guide participants to make the transition from the traditional into the electronic global real estate marketplace."
The subscription fee for the brokers enlisting for this programme is around Rs lakh per year.
The software iEstate has modules which include: Standardised business letters, legal documents for every state, calculators, inventory management, a download centre, to name a few. Indiaproperties.com has also developed a browser, a customised word processor, similar to MS Word, customised to print with the users logo, an address book, a scheduler etc. According to Mr Malkani, "the browser comes as an additional module of iESTATE, which once installed will sit on his desktop and function on its own." Mr Malkani added that similar efforts are underway to develop advanced technologies and business enhancement processes for the real estate developers and the allied service providers such as architects, interior designers, legal consultants to name a few.
