Mumbai, Jan 17: The Centurion Bank has tied up with the Indian Banks Association's (IBA) shared payment network scheme, known as a Swadhan ATM Network.According to a release by the bank: "This association enables not only our customers, but also the customers of the 37 member banks to withdraw funds from a network of over 352 ATMs across the country. The Global Debit Card `Vantage 24' launched by Centurion Bank in association with Master Card International can be freely used at any of the Swadhan Network ATMs across the country. Correspondingly, Mastercard holders can also use the ATM network of Centurion Bank spread across 34 cities. By using these ATMs, customers can withdraw cash any time from convenient locations such as shopping malls, petrol pumps, busy commercial areas etc."
Says Centurion Bank's MD M J Subbaiah: "Commitment to customer has always been our prime objective. Every effort of the bank has been aimed at adding value for the customers. This tie up with Swadhan means an extension of the bank's commitment to make banking convenient. This also extends to people who are not currently customers of the bank, but would like to have the convenience of the basic banking activities like withdrawal of cash through these outlets.
