Sebi allows Deutsche Bank to offer portfolio advisory services

Mumbai, Jan 17: Deutsche Bank has received the required registrations from Sebi for offering portfolio advisory services. The certificate of registration will be valid for three years and will enable the bank's private banking division to leverage its expertise by providing a holistic approach to wealth management and preparing financial plans suited to its clients' individual requirements.Deutsche Bank's Asia Pacific head (personal & private banking) Jessie Tan said, "Deutsche Bank India's appointment as a Sebi-certified registered portfolio advisor will be a significant step for the bank's activities in the Asia Pacific region. The bank already has a substantial presence in private banking in Asia Pacific with more than 18 centres in 11 Asian countries and over 200 private banking professionals.
