Linkedwith GmbH to set up Indian arm

New Delhi : German company Linkedwith GmbH on Thursday announced the setting up of its Indian arm. The Indian subsidiary, called Linkedwith India Marketing Private Limited, is being set up in a 60:40 joint venture with the Indian partner, Mr Sushil Aggarwal. Linkedwith India will offer wireless information technologies related services and solutions, including wireless application protocol (WAP) and extended markup language (XML), to big corporates, solution developers, and content providers in India, said Mr Kim Onneken, joint CEO and chief technical officer, Linkedwith GmbH, said. Linkedwith GmbH, which was set up two years ago, is a privately held company, which has alliances, with global IT majors like, Ericsson, IBM-Lotus, Mannesman, Microsoft, Nokia, SUN Microsystems, Software AG, SCO and 3COM. "The company will operate through qualified business alliances, in tune with the worldwide strategy of Linkedwith," according to Dr Sushil Agarwal, chief executive, Asia.
