New Delhi : In order to cater to its overseas clients at a cutting edge price, the Delhi-based Hiperworld Cybertech Ltd, an end-to-end E-commerce Service Provider (ESP), launched its remote deployment command centre in Delhi, last week. Simultaneously, the company has also launched its operations abroad.Starting with its entry in UK - it opened an office in Piccadily, London, last week - Hiperworld plans to have few more offices in Europe and the US in the near future. Hiperworld's command centre will be a centralised development and deployment centre whereby it will carry out all the development and deployment for it's overseas and national clients sitting right here in New Delhi. Hiperworld is one of the pioneers in the remote deployment market. At present, there are just two major players - Net Across and TCS - in this market. Hiperworld, however, claims that even they don't have a centralised deployment premise. A major component of Indian software development is cost of relocation specially for on-site development activities. By carrying out development activities at its command centre in New Delhi, Hiperworld would be able to save on this cost.
According to Hiperworld's CEO Anand Srivastav, other than the cost benefit, some of the other factors that prompted Hiperworld to open its command center are emergence of new outsourcing destinations like Russia and China which have a cost to talent advantage.
"Though these countries lack in terms of proficeincy in English language but they are gearing up fast to overcome this lacunae," Mr Srivastav said. l
