Trade chambers welcome new industrial policy

Mumbai, Jan 22: Mumbai' leading business chambers welcomed the Maharashtra government's new industrial and labour policy and called upon all political parties to rise above vote-bank politics and form a consensus on this issue.

The Indian Merchants' Chamber, Maharashtra Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Federation of Association of Maharashtra and Employers' Federation of India said these policy measures were the first step towards making the industries more competitive and equipping them to face competition from imported goods after April 200.
