The volumes in the futures segment at the NSE have picked up significantly in the last two months of the year 2000.

SEBI's sub-group on brokers' pool accounts on Tuesday prepared a blue print for putting an end to the pool accounts system by March-end, by making it mandatory for the clearing members to transfer such shares directly to client accounts from April 2, 2001.
