Oasis to offer management development modules online

Hyderabad : Oasis Infotech Ltd (OIL), an e-learning solution provider, has joined hands with the Centre for Organisation Development (COD) to develop and market modules for Computer-based tutorials and on-line tutorials. Speaking to press persons here on Tuesday, OIL's director L Vijay Anand said that the joint partnership will offer specialised management development programs to the corporate sector on various areas including Human Resources, Organizational Behaviour and Organization Development. As per the agreement, the COD will provide the content for the programs, while OIL will extend it expertise in solution development and marketing the modules. "We proposes to structure the programs as desired by the corporate clients," Mr Anand said. For this purpose, OIL has already set up marketing offices at Bangalore and US and plans to establish one more office at Mumbai, he said. The new initiative will fetch the company double its turnovers annually, Mr Anand said. The company has achieved a turnover of Rs1.8 crore till December 2001 and hopes to close the current financial year with a turnover of Rs 3 crore.

Explaining OIL's plans on on-line education, Mr Anand said that it proposes to rename the exiting portal ourgurukul.com to smartuniv.com. Further the company has already in the process of developing Computer Based Tutorial (CBTs) for two of Maryland based companies, he said.
