Ranganathan takes over as chief secretary
The maharashtra government on Wednesday shunted out the chief secretary Arun Bongirwar. He was replaced by V Ranganathan who belongs to the 1965 IAS batch. Mr Ranganathan, who was the BrihanMumbai Municipal Commissioner, had assumed the important posts as the additional chief secretary (home, water supply and sanitation), secretary housing.
