Airbus logs record sales of $17.2 billion in 2000
European plane maker Airbus Industrie said on Monday that sales surged to a record $17.2 billion in 2000 and announced new orders for 520 planes worth $41.3 billion -- another high for the company.

United Breweries plans to import range of lifestyle products into India
Liquor major, United Breweries is planning to import a range of lifestyle products into the country and market them through luxury retail outlets. The company will invest around Rs 200 cr for setting up these outlets across major cities under the McDowell brand name.
