The decision was taken recently at the respective boards meetings of the two companies. With this realignment, all venture capital activities - raising and deployment of venture capital resources - would be done under different schemes of ICICI Venture. ICICI Eco-Net would continue to house and manage e-commerce initiatives, including incubation activities as is presently done. ICICI Eco-Net would be managed by ICICI Venture.

ICICI Eco-Net's managing director, Renuka Ramnath, will be taking over as the MD of ICICI Venture.
