New Delhi : IT'S finally here. The cK Watch Co Ltd- a joint venture between the world's largest watch manufacturer, The Swatch Group, and American designer, Calvin Klein-has launched its collection of cK watches in India. The watch was launched amid chic fashion shows in Mumbai, and in New Delhi on Monday.The cK watch would be positioned as a fashion brand, and the distribution will span leading watch retailers and fashion stores in the country. Mr Sanjeev and Mr Ajay Bijli of Priya Exhibitors will be the distributors for North-East, and Mr Aftab Patel of Watches of Switzerland for the south-western part of the country.
The core styles of the cK watch collection are Tech, Minimal, Dress and Duality. In India, over 50 references in seven ranges will be available at outlets across the country and range between Rs 5,500 and Rs 17,500.
The brand would be targeted at `the discerning Indian consumer who appreciates the understated style and will view it as a reflection of her/his fine taste.'
"I believe that the brand awareness of cK and an understanding of its style and message, will lead to instant appreciation of our watch in the Indian market. We have created a style. The cK watch look is cool, characteristic, contemporary, and clean," Ms Arlette Emch, president, cK Watch Co. Ltd said.cK watches are present in 45 countries across the globe, with lead markets in the US, Canada, Japan, Italy, Singapore, Germany, France and Switzerland.
