MUL on CCD agenda today

Y Radhakrishnan has been elavated as managing director of State Bank of India. Prior to his promotion, Mr Radhakrishnan was deputy managing director and corporate development officer at the bank's head quarters, SBI said on Monday.
Tax mopup jumps 13.54 per cent
Total tax collections rose 13.54 per cent during the first 10 months of the current fiscal and stood at Rs 1,42,310.5 crore as against Rs 1,25,336.87 crore during April-January, 1999. While direct tax collections touched Rs 47,166.82 crore during the period, a rise of 27.66 per cent, indirect tax collections rose 7.64 per cent to Rs 95,143.33 crore.
