Nokia has announced plans to roll out a Bluetooth-capable version of the Nokia 6210 - aka the Nokia 6210 Cyber Silver - by the second quarter of this year.Nokia's Connectivity Pack, which works with the enhanced 6210 to provide the Bluetooth connection, is also expected to be shipped in the second quarter. Bluetooth is a wireless technology that allows electronic devices that are within 10m of one other to share information.
With the wireless capability, the handset will be able to function as a GSM modem for a laptop up to a range of 10m to facilitate the downloading of emails, faxing, and Internet browsing. The technology also complements the 6210's high-speed data capabilities of up to 43.2kbps.
Besides the handset's new "Cyber Silver" color and lighter weight (at 107g), users will see other technical improvements in the new version. In arrangement with India.CNET.com
