Kavita Nair
Mumbai: Software solutions provider Sun Infoways Ltd is developing a new distribution chain for its two online education brands: ZAP and OnlineGyan through its Incubation centers across the country. The company has already acquired bank guarantees for their investments. The company will make the initial investments and has already allocated Rs 37.50 crore for this purpose. The first 250 franchisees will get an opportunity to set up these centres. The company is also open to investments from these franchisees. The new network of 250 software incubation centers across the country will concentrate on training and development of high-end skills on four levels.

The first level is Web application and WAP, which is basic Web designing, level two is software development for small footprint appliances and PDAs, level 3 is Smart card application development and level four is an overview of GPS.

Mr Umesh Gowda, director, Sun Infoways says, "We believe there is a market demand and in order to bridge the gap between demand and supply for education, we have committed ourselves to make the required investments.

These investments will enable us to implement this extensive distribution network that we envisage will charter a new course for computer education in India via these incubation centers."
