Xerox unveils DocuColor 2060 digital colour press


Xerox unveiled DocuColor 2060, the fastest cut-sheet `digital full colour press', at the 29th All India Printers Conference from March 11-13, 2001 at the India Habitat Centre in New Delhi. Appointed as the document manager for the event, Xerox Modicorp will also print on demand the entire proceedings of the conference to be distributed to all delegates.

DCM Shriram to deploy mySAP.com solution suite
SAP India, a provider of e-business solutions, has won the DCM Shriram Consolidated Ltd (DSCL) account for implementing the mySAP.com solution suite, which includes mySAP BW, mySAP CRM, mySAP Workplace and mySAP HR. This implementation will provide a seamless dual enterprise interface, within DSCL and also externally with customers and vendors.

Karvy launches M-Investor
As part of its overall strategy to provide technology enabled investor services, Karvy Consultants Limited launched `M-Investor' (the mobile investor) in Hyderabad on Tuesday. Spice Telecom launches myspice Website
Spice Telecom, the cellular services provider in Karnataka has launched its Website called myspice through which its subscribers can access the Internet without having to invest in a WAP-enabled handset. The company has also introduced enhanced WAP services for its subscribers.

Reconsider spectrum charges, says MP
The limited mobility issue on Monday found a special mention in the Parliament from Mr Suresh Pachauri, MP. He said that while other countries were auctioning spectrum since it is a finite and scarce resource, in India the spectrum was being allocated to the industry for nominal rates in a first-come, first-serve basis.
