Autopartsasia launches private exchange

Chennai: Autopartsasia on Tuesday launched Apex (Autopartsasia Private Exchange), an automotive/automotive company specific network for connecting their inbound and outbound supply chain enabling real time information exchange. Apex, according to Mr Subodh Bhargava, chairman of the company, would help autoparts and automotive manufacturers worldwide to stay connected with their buy side and sell side partners and conduct online e-commerce transactions in a secure environment. The services on offer on Apex include Apex outbound, a private network between company and their depots, distributors and dealers. Apex inbound, another service available on the exchange, would take care of the private networking between the company and its suppliers and vendors, he said. He said Apex facilities supply chain information integration of the auto parts manufacturers and distributors to their warehouses, depots, distributors and supplier. "The application interface catridge ensures that these transactions are uploaded andare available for the distributors, branches and suppliers to view their deals and positions".
