New Delhi, March 13 DABUR India Ltd has said it proposes to add three new directors to its board, and an enabling resolution to increase the number of directors from 15 to 20 was passed on Tuesday at the EGM."This increase in the number of directors was required tomeet the provisions of the corporate governance code."
"Dabur being a company at the forefront of implementing corporate governance felt the need to induct more independent, non-executive directors on the board," Chairman of Dabur V C Burman said in a statement in New Delhi on Tuesday.
Through another resolution, the company has amended its article of association to adopt postal ballot as the mode of passing the resolutions by its members, it said.
