Airbus makes presentation to A-I

Mumbai, March 13 : Airbus Industries has made a presentation to Air India (AI) offering three different types of aircrafts, including the super Jumbo A380 aircraft, and was discussing replacing two Boeing 737s with the Airbus Corporate jet, with the Indian Air Force.Airbus has offered A330-200, A330-500 and the 550-seater380 aircraft to Air India which is due for disinvestment by March 31, sales vice-president Dr Kiran Rao said. Asked if the Airbus team was making a presentation to the Tatas who have bid for Air India along with Singapore Airlines, Mr Rao said, "We discuss our ideas and have been talking to all concerned."
