Both Citibank and Royal Sundaram have tied up for the above, and the latter will offer marine insurance, fire, engineering and liability insurance to Citibank's corporate clientele.

Said Citibank's CEO and global consumer bank head, Nanoo Pamnani: "We are confident that consumers will enjoy a wider array of products and better levels of service as far as general insurance is concerned." Added Royal Sundaram's managing director, Micky Brigg, on the corporate partnership: "The brand loyalty and presence enjoyed by Citibank will definitely benefit our partnership." Citibank had earlier tied up with Birla Sun Life Insurance Company to distribute Sun Life's products through its various branches.

Subject to approvals, Citibank will become a corporate agent for both Birla Sun Life and Royal Sundaram. It will be selling life insurance products for Birla Sun Life and non-life products from Royal Sundaram's stable.
