VRS is no long-term solution -- Hewitt official
Voluntary retirement schemes (VRS) are not the panacea for all the ills that are plaguing the Indian banking system, says Hewitt Associates business development head (Asia Pacific region) Anand Shankar.

Government has acceded to the soft drink industry's demands, albeit, partially by modifying its earlier hard hitting directive (Dec 21, 2000) that made pasting of `contains no fruit juice' labels mandatory on returnable glass bottles (RGBs).
