Sebi files cases against 3 firms

Mumbai, April 3: The Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) has launched prosecution against three companies having their registered offices in Ahmedabad and Vadodara, and their directors on account of failure to take any satisfactory action on the regulators advice several times to redress shareholder grievances.The cases were filed under Section 113 of The Companies Act, 1956, before the additional chief metropolitan magistrate, 19th, in Mumbai against Ojas Technochem Products Ltd of Vadodara and Sunstar Software Systems Ltd and Manna Glass-Tech Industries Ltd both based in Ahmedabad, Sebi said in a release on Tuesday.
