Ganguly is not fit for Captaincy. Infact he deserves to be sacked from the team, considering the fact that, he never leads the team when required. Make Dravid captain, this way; we can have one more Bowler.

Harsha G

Hey come on, its just unfair to say Saurav is the weakest link. But for him, team India would not have been such a formidable side. He manages his resources well, plays the mind game well with the opposition, brings in team spirit, motivates players, spots new talents, gives his players longer rope to prove themselves and a die hard fighter. Just that he has been found wanting in runs in recent times. He will get over it. You may sack him at the risk of having a de-motivated and disintegrated Indian Team that would become immediately upon his absence.

Ganguly is the genuine Fluke Artist. He scored a couple of centuries against good teams here and there. He is more likely to score against unknown teams. He never plays a captain's innings. Last night's match reaffirmed his unsuitability as a player and skipper. Whenever he interferes with the Bowlers and the Field (it is interference because he seems to be incapable of leading them), the bowlers get hit for sixes and fielders misfield, or batsmen of the other side are suddenly provided with great openings. Just watch your matches carefully, and look for the time Ganguly starts talking to his people instead of chewing his paan, gum or whatever; you will see that happen. The only thing he is good for is to make tall claims every time the team wins a match for him- we will beat them, we will conquer the world etc etc- worse than some of the boxers who talk before a match just like this. As his outburst during the world cup (after angry crowds protested in India) shows, he is not capable of taking responsibility either. The crowds were unreasonably hysterical but Ganguly's response at that time was equally immature. This fellow should be sacked.
