New Delhi, October 31: Ever since my schooldays in the sixties, I have observed how weapon-exporting countries have systematically trained, financed and given moral support to terrorist organisations. Now they are out of control all over the world.
The deep roots, which cause terrorism today have to be analysed and remedies have to be found. This might involve an unpleasant situation to the so-called "civilised" nations, which might have to come down in the standard of living now enjoyed. To associate terrorism with a particular religion is the greatest mistake most western countries make.

How will the death of innocent people, Diwali shopping in Paharganj - a place where a mosque is quite close by to a temple - help further any ideology or correct any grievance is beyond comprehension. The logic of terrorism is inhuman.
May God give peace to the departed souls, and courage to their families. Terrorists are heartless cowards. They will try to strike whenever they feel like.
There is no point in politicising the issue and blaming the policies of any government. Instead a united front should be put up and be vigilant during the festival season. Hats off to the DTC driver for doing his best and saving many lives. We need people like him not the ones sitting in Australia and criticising the Indian voters.

Knowing well that these terror strikes can take place at any point, the govt should have been more vigilant.
India should act like Americans and their allies did in Iraq. Just finish the root cause for it all. This time seek the rats are in their holes... there has to be some end to such crimes directed at us.
Enough is enough. Indians have to be taken seriously...

The terrorists targeted the heart of India to get world attention. I hope at least now the world properly recognises and pays due attention to the miserable sufferings faced by ordinary unarmed law abiding citizens of India, who are forced to face these barbaric acts by lunatics.
The best way for India to respond in long run is to grow stronger and stronger economically and hence purchase more political say in the world arena.
We peace lovers wish to provide a great life to the ordinary Kashmiris like what we enjoy in the rest of India, but let the world not mistake us - this great nation will never crumble to the pressure of intimidation by state sponsored terrorism.

We should be careful not to use a broad brush against the entire Muslim community. Remember many a Muslim made the supreme sacrifice in Kargil, and the other wars we have had with Pakistan. We need to attack the core of the issue. The terrorists want to alienate the Muslim population from the rest; if we overreact we will help them achieve their goal.
Let us hunt the cowardly vermin, try them and when convicted, let us give them a slow death and of course at the supreme end, let us cremate their bodies and mix their ashes with pig feed, and feed them to the pigs.
Most of the terrorists are not motivated by life, they are motivated by death, and if they know what awaits their bodies - it may serve as a deterrent.

I am very bad at politics but I think the root cause of all the problems is PoK. Why should we let anyone retain it though it is legally and physically a part of India? It’s not about, who or which party is running the nation, it is about the handicap associated with the system.
With due respect to the judicial system, if u would acquit people such as Prof Geelani (whom the CBI was confident of getting convicted) it would obviously increase the moral of the inhuman souls. I am not angry it’s just my soul, which is crying to see my nation in hands of people, who themselves are escorted by black commando security but let the nation suffer citing the helplessness in the form of Gandhian principles.
Enough is enough… learn from the world.
For its safety if America can attack Afganistan and Iraq, why can't we demolish the Islamic terrorist powers operational in Pakistan?

Another shameless, cowardice and inhuman act of terrorism has taken away the life of many innocents. This is the time to stand together to express our sympathies to the victims and hatred and anger against these terrorists.
It is not important whether you are a Hindu, Muslim, or any other believer, or follower of Congress or BJP, Indian, or non-Indian. I also feel ashamed and hurt to see the mindset of some of the readers in their comment, who are using these tragedies for political gains and to express their hatred against another community.

I have lived in New Delhi for five years and I have frequented Sarojini Market area, where the blast occurred. This is a cowardly act of terrorist; it will not dampen the spirits of Indians. We will fight this terrorism by all means. One ought never to turn one's back on a threatened danger and try to run away from it.
If you do that, you will double the danger. But if you meet it promptly and without flinching, you will reduce the danger by half.
Destory terrorist cells in Pakistan and kill the terrorist leaders as done by Israel. This is the only way to keep them busy and on run.
