Amitabh Bachchan Mumbai, July 4: A team of officials and sniffer dogs from the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS) searched the residence of actor Amitabh Bachchan following information that some subversive act could be carried out there, police said.

"A senior officer from the police got a tip-off about the possibility that some subversive act can be carried out at Jalsa, the Juhu residence of Bachchan, and hence the searches were carried out immediately," a police official said.
