He says what hurt him most was the hike in water charges...

MUMBAI, May 14: Suburban and out-station services on the Central Railway (CR) were severely affected during the peak hours on Wednesday morning when a short circuit took place in an open electric switch outside the station at 10.09 am outside Thane railway station.

The short circuit which resulted in a small explosion caused commotion on the over-crowded station and passengers were immediately evacuated. The train services came to a grinding halt as the wires feeding power to trains were cut.

A CR spokesperson said the services on all four lines were disrupted and several trains were detained for more than 30 minutes till 10.31 am, when the first train was allowed to use the up slow line. However, the down through line remained affected for a longer period as the CR effected a power block on the line to provide power to trains. Due to the short-circuit, services remained affected till late afternoon and local trains were running late by more than 45 minutes. Out-station trains too were delayed.
