Anti-Enron protest by SP

MUMBAI, May 14: The Samajwadi Party, Mumbai, under the stewardship of Raj Babbar will hold demonstrations in Guhagar, Chiplun and other sites in Konkan which are affected by the Enron power project.

The party's state general secretary Husain Dalwai and city president Abu Asim Azmi, along with new entrants jointly addressed the press today. They said the party will protest against the lack of rehabilitation of villagers. The party will soon protest against the rise in milk prices, Dalwai added.Dalwai presented the new list of entrants in the party, including Balasaheb Bansode from RPI, Yashwant Desai from Congress, Ajit Jathar from SS and Nazim Kazi from JD.
