MUMBAI, May 14: Caroline Haffner, a French pianist, will be performing in Mumbai this week. Caroline studied at the Conservatoire National Superieur and within an year won the first prize in piano, chamber music and accompaniment.

Caroline has broadcast frequently on national radio and television networks of Europe and given performances all over Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Her talent has also been acclaimed by the world-renowned cellist, Rostropovich.

She is the winner of the Geneva International Piano Competition in 1973. Her performance here will include works by Bach, Beethoven and Chopin. The programme has been arranged by the Alliance Francaise and NCPA.
