Races cancelled Bangalore, March 14 The talks between the Stewards of the Bangalore Turf Club and the trainers here on Wednesday failed to resolve the vexed issue of the transfer of six trainers to Mysore and the free two-way movement of horses between the two centres. As a result, the trainers did not put in their entries for the first two days of Bangalore Summer Season, resulting in the cancellation of races. The trainers have been agitated that the Stewards have been taking arbitrary decisions with little regard for the effect it had on their livelihood.
