Sri Lanka to take part in English triangular series

LONDON, May 14: World champions Sri Lanka and South Africa will be the opponents when England host their first-ever triangular one-day tournament next summer as part of their preparation for their 1999 World Cup, it was announced today. After a three-match one-day series and five Tests against South Africa, England will stage the three-strong event which will be followed by a one-off Test at The Oval against Sri Lanka.
