PANAJI, MAY 23: The Asmitai Pratishthan, a private trust involved in publication and promotion of Konkani literature, will soon be building up a 30-lakh strong corpus of Konkani text for use in the Government of India's novel "machine translations" project.

Goa Asmitai Pratishthan's chief trustee, Uday Bhombre, gave this information at a public function here.

The celebrations were held to mark the release of a Konkani book Dhammapad.
