MAY 26: Parikshit Shetty ruled the pool on the concluding day of the four day GMAAA District Age Group aquatic meet held at the PM Hindu Bath, Chowpatty.

Parikshit's record breaking feats continued today when he sunk two more records in the boys Group IV. He clocked an excellent 2:40.41 in the 200m individual medlley, eclipsing his own mark by five seconds.

Later he won the 50m breast-stroke with a new Meet record of 0.38.27. Parikshit created new records in all five events he won in the meet.

The other mark setters on the concluding day of the championships were Riyad Palia (Otters) in the 200m individual medley boys Group III (2:32.21) AND Manushi Jain (Otters) in the 100m breast-stroke for girls Group I (1:25.09).

Keen competition and upsets marked the proceedings today. Other notable winners included Tejas Pathare (MGMO), Amol Borkar (Khar Gymkhana), Zeba Wadia (ASP), Tejaswi Shetty (JVP), Vasudha Gudipatti (BPCL), Rohan Nichani (JVP), Avani Shetty (ASP), Nitin Jethanandani (JVP), V Vinod (Khar Gymkhana), Juie Shetty (MGMO), Rohit Sardal (STC), Deepti Venkatesh (Otters), Jay Shah (JVP) and Rashi Oberoi (Otters).

Individual championships: Boys: Gr I: Nitin Jethanandani (JVP); Gr II: Amol Borkar; Gr III: Riyad Palia (Otters); Gr IV: Parikshit Shetty (Otters); Gr V: Roshan Nichani (JVP); Gr VI: Sushant Divgikar (KG).

Girls: Gr I: Manushi Jain (Otters); Gr II: Sindoor Thakkar (Otters); Gr III: Tejaswi Shetty (JVP); Gr IV: Vasudha Gudipatti (BPCL); Gr V: Karishma Menon (Otters); Gr VI: Nimisha Gupta (BPCL).
