LONDON, June 1: Spice Girl Victoria Adams is to marry an English international footballer, a British newspaper reported today in an article accompanied by a picture of the pop star emerging from a wedding dress shop.

The Sunday Mirror named the groom-to-be as David Beckham, the Manchester United player who yesterday helped his country to a 2-0 victory over Poland. Neither Beckham nor singer Adams, known as Posh Spice, was quoted in the article.
