Dalmiya takes over as ICC President

India's Jagmohan Dalmiya became the first Asian to head cricket's world governing body as he took over as the International Cricket Council (ICC) president at the Lord's, the Mecca of the game in Britain.

Woodforde is Paes' first-round hurdle

India's Leander Paes will open his Wimbledon campaign against Australian doubles specialist Mark Woodforde after the men's singles draw was announced at the All-England Club. Paes, who had to qualify last year, gained a direct entry for this year's championship and was placed in the bottom half of the draw.
