CHENNAI, June 20: The days when a woman were confined to the walls of her house were gone, and today she is encouraged to participate in social and political decisions as well, according to TN minister for information and publicity, V Mullaivendan. Speaking at a seminar on women entrepreneurship, jointly organised by the Directorate of Industries and Commerce, and the Centre for Entrepreneurship Development, Canara Bank, he appealed to women to take advantage of the loan facilities available for women entrepreneurs.
