CHENNAI, June 20: A seminar on brain death and organ donation, held here by the department of transplantation and department of neuro-surgery at the Sri Ramachandra Medical College (SRMC) Hospital, stressed the need to change public opinion about organ transplantation. According to a survey conducted by the hospital, though there was goos scope for organ transplantation in the country, it could only be done if public attitude towards it changed, said Dr Sunil Shroff, of SRMC.
