CHENNAI, June 20: Just as the city was coming back to normal after a wildcat strike called by busmen, today, two railway unions clashed at the Chennai Central, injuring 14 persons, damaging a bus and causing a standstill in traffic. The pro-CITU Dakshin Railway Employees Union (DREU) had alleged that the leader of the Southern Railway Mazdoor Union (SRMU) had not conducted proper elections and has asked the government to intervene and take action against him.
